(FAPRA) aims to promote information exchange and discuss issues for the development of commerce, retailers and improvement of citizens’ lives.

The Federation of Asia-Pacific Retailers Associations (FAPRA) was founded in 1989. It has implemented its activities and developed itself with the aim of discussing issues shared in the region, promote information exchange and friendship, thereby contributing to the development of commerce, the improvement of retailers' status and the improvement of citizens' lives in the region.

The 21st Asia Pacific Retail Convention & Exhibition (APRCE) 2024 will be held from 4th to 6th September 2024 in Colombo, Sri Lanka. With the theme “Redefining Retail in APAC: From Transactions to Transformation,” the event explores how retail is evolving beyond traditional transactions toward meaningful, transformative experiences.

The 20th APRCE, held from November 28 to 30, 2022, in Jakarta, Indonesia, carried the theme “Strong Retail, Strong Economy.” The event brought together industry leaders from 20 member countries, emphasizing retail’s role in resilience, innovation, and sustainable growth across the region.

The 19th APRCE took place from 5th to 7th September 2019 at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center in China. Hosted by the China General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC), the event showcased innovations and strategic insights shaping Asia-Pacific retail.

The 18th APRCE, hosted by the Malaysia Retailers Association (MRA), was held from 25th to 27th October 2017 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. With the theme “Transformation, Creativity & Beyond,” the event featured key retail voices from across the region to share insights and collaborative strategies.

The 17th APRCE was held from 28th to 30th October 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines. Centered around the theme “Asia Fast Forward,” the event addressed emerging retail trends and innovations transforming the regional landscape.
